    Total government spending is monitored for the six sectors, outlined in the budget statement for 2014, to 569.9 billion, accounted for 67 per cent of the public expenditure estimate for the State, for 2014, and $ 855 billion. The budget statement, issued by the Ministry of finance, other sectors benefiting from the remaining amount of the total public expenditure of the State, of 285.1 billion, a third of government spending for the year 2014. And the education sector received the largest share of the estimated expenditure for the year 2014, valued at 210 billion, accounted for 25 per cent of the total estimated expenditure; education expenditure grew by 3 per cent, compared with the expenses of the private sector to the year 2013, and about 204 billion riyals.
    Followed by health and social development, as most expenditure for the year 2014 where Saib 13 per cent of total expenditure for the same year, spending grew by 8 per cent, compared with the level for the year 2013, amounting to 2014, about 108 billion riyals, compared to 100 billion. Fifthly, the water sector, agriculture, industry and other economic resources by the acquisition of 7 per cent, of the total expenditures of the year 2014, and allocation of 16 billion riyals, compared to 57 billion for 2013. Finally, the municipal services sector, by acquisition of 5 per cent of the total budget expenditure for the year 2014, valued at 39 billion riyals, compared to 36 billion for the year 2013.
